On Friday I took off of work, rented a car, and drove 8 hours to Las Vegas, NV to attend the annual ALA conference. ALA is the American Library Association's annual conference and let me tell you, it's one of the things I look most forward to every year! This year, I drove up and stayed with my buddy (and awesome author Cara Elizabeth).
